Pneumonia White is one of my favorite bloggers out right now. Very interesting photos and she creates an amazing fantasy (maybe reality?) world. Hello!!. I looked around for some July fourth inspiration. And summer inspiration. Rachel from ThatsChic.net posted some great shots in the Heart Breaker Moto Jacket (she also cut her hair.) I hope to ride in a hot air balloon this summer, hence the library of congress archival print of a hot air balloon. The b&w photo is of two women repairing what looks like the largest American flag....ever? There is a huge squid above them (via loc.gov) And I also included a small dose of some of our key looks. We are super excited! Le Petit Petit S/S 2011 will be out very soon (new look book will be out June 1st so keep checking back for updates). We just completed our lookbook, and I thought I would share a few shots from the shoot that didn't make the book, but are still lovely. Hello! I wanted to share a really cool post that Kenza from Le Revue De Kenza recently did on her blog. The images remind me of paparazzi shots, and I love how they are all shot on polaroids. Also love the way she paired our Le Petit Petit Dolman, (I Left My Heart In Paris, I Left My Heart in Icecream) t-shirt, with a long flowing skirt. It's a very simple but still elegant outfit. The polaroids also inspired me to search for more polaroid related stuff, and I found an amazing site: The Impossible Project. To summarize it's a site and manufacturer that aims to revive and remake polaroid film (which is extinct) and to educate and promote the use of this lost medium. Enjoy xoxo. Louise Petit.

Hello Everyone! Like the post title says, so many things to be happy about! I have been very drawn to B&W lately, with just POP of really bright color. Wallace Berman is, in my opinion, one of the best artist that you may have never heard off. He was affiliated with the Los Angeles avante-garde art scene from the late fifties through the seventies until his untimely death on his 49th birthday due to a car crash. My writing about his work does not do him justice so I have included images of his work, which included verifax collages, amazing photographs, and a mail around project called Semina which featured the work of many well know artists of the time. So, I went to check out the new Flea Market at Dodger Stadium this weekend. It was very hot, and the parking situation gave me anxiety. There was a great food section, I bought some ice cream from a cute little ice cream truck. Unfortunately, there wasn't as much vintage, and old things for me to see :( I did see Rumi from Fashion Toast, with her photographer!
